What is Recover Our Youth ?

•The goal of “Recover Our Youth" is to use one-on-one and group mentoring to foster job readiness and education.

•R.O.Y. target group consist of youth “at-risk” from getting or staying  involved in drug abuse, juvenile court, teen pregnancy, etc.

•R.O.Y. mentors are local adults, 18 or older, screened and trained, who model responsible  behavior and enjoy being around young people.

•R.O.Y. mentors spend a minimum of one hour each week for one year with a young friend. R.O.Y. mentors develop a friendship with these young  people, which impacts positively on every aspect of the children’s social and intellectual lives.
